IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PORSCHE 944
Nothing gives you the feel of the 1980's than pop-up headlights and exciting curves. The Porsche 944 made headlines in the 1980's and is now a highly attractive in any Porsche enthusiast.

The 944 made it's debut in 1982, and was based on a successful Le Mans prototype, the 944 was the third Porsche model to feature a front-mounted engine and rear-axle transmission, know as the famous Transaxle Design. Production on the 944 ran of ten years, it has become a much-loved classic with a legion of dedicated fans, attracted by its striking contours and racing heritage.
It was in Frankfurt Motor Show on September 1981 that the 944 was revealed. The exterior design influenced by a wide-bodied 924 Carrera GT prototype from 1979. These features on the 944 where show stopping, from its striking contours, widened rear wings and an aggressive nose.
It was in Neckarsulm, 50km north of Stuttgart where the 944 was built. All of its engines were transported from the factory in Zuffenhausen.
The 944 was officially retired in 1991, 173,238 - 944 models were produced by Porsche in this time frame. This made the 944 the most successful sports car in the company’s history up to that period. The 944 accounted for more than 51 % of total Porsche production sales after only the first year.
